Conor McGregor is once again in the spotlight after a successful knee surgery and now he is now recovering with strong determination to comeback.

But the recovery of “The Notorious” takes a surprising turn when the 38-year-old receives a special delivery through a drone.

In a widely circulating video on social media platforms, McGregor was seen getting an energy drink delivered by a drone while he’s in casts following surgery.

The video went viral on X and drew mixed responses from the users. One user wrote, “Man will do anything not to miss the energy drink.”

Another one commented, “He’s so fragile, I’m surprised he didn’t hyperextended his elbow.”

“The drone should have delivered a few brain cells, too,” one user criticized him for his carelessness after a surgery.

McGregor had a shocking knee injury in July when he was diagnosed with two tears in his knee, meniscus and ACL after the fierce fight against Max Holloway at UFC 329. He underwent his fifth career surgery to repair a torn ACL.

On Friday, McGregor posted on X and updated the fans regarding his surgery and comeback plans.

He wrote, “Surgery done. Knee repaired. The doubters can keep talking. I didn’t run from the pain. I walked straight into it.”

McGregor continued, “Now the real work begins. Comeback season starts now. No shortcuts. No excuses. Just the will to rise again.”

“I am on the road to recovery. That should tell you everything you need to know about my mindset. Straight into surgery. Knee repaired. And on the road [to recovery]. Let’s go.”

It is expected that the MMA fighter will not return to the cage before the next summer.
