A Californian dinner party that Meghan Markle recently attended ended up the topic of massive discussion, and the reason was none other than her decision to dish on her meeting with the British royals just days after returning from the UK.

As for what was said, the house hold name sat down with People to discuss it.

In that chat she kept it pretty simple and admitted, “I had dinner with Meghan Markle the other night. We were both guests at a dinner party in California.”

“And she had just gotten back from the palace. I didn’t talk to her really more than to say a couple words, but I know she was talking about it.”

But that wasn’t the whole conversation, another aspect the magazine asked her to shed light on was Meghan’s bid for reinvention and how she landed as a hosting and lifestyle expert.

The answer to this, Stweart kept simple and said, “if you’re an actress, it’s hard to then transition to a princess and then from a princess into a homemaking guru on a television show. It doesn’t sort of follow. So go from there.”

Another thing worth noting is that Meghan’s transformation was not overnight. She’s gone from launching her Lifestyle range to then curating a hosting series featuring some of her product lineups.

Another thing is that since her return from the UK, the public has been getting leaks constantly about her emotional state, about her likes, dislikes etc etc. Part of the leaks allege that even though she donned wigs and other means to conceal herself, she’s said to have had a hard time under the British media landscape.
