Andrew Mountbatten Windsor finds ‘new opportunity’ to build bridges with King Charles
Andrew Mountbatten Windsor and Sarah Ferguson are thrilled as they receive good news from Princess Eugenie
Andrew Mountbatten Windsor and Sarah Ferguson want return into the royal fold as their youngest daughter delivers a child.
The former Duke and Duchess of York, who are currently in exile, are elated as Princess Eugenie welcomes her third child with husband Jack Brooksbank in Portugal.
An insider tells Closer Online: “They’re absolutely thrilled for Eugenie and very excited to be getting another grandchild, but they’re also saying that nothing brings a family together quite like a newborn, so they’re seeing this as an opportunity to try and build a bridge with Charles and Camilla and the rest of their extended family.”
“Andrew’s very excited and proud, and he’s been sharing updates with the family members he still keeps in touch with, and certain courtiers and other staffers as well.
‘He and Sarah are definitely looking at this as a foot back in the door with the Firm. They know this baby isn't going to erase everything that's happened, but they can’t help but pin a lot of hope on this. They are determined to make the most of every opportunity this new arrival brings because, in their minds, it's a rare chance to remind everyone they're still part of the family,” said the insider.
