Queen Camilla could ‘close doors’ on Meghan Markle after fresh betrayal
Queen Camilla is not happy as Meghan Markle shows personal photos on social media
Queen Camilla is seemingly upset as Meghan Markle goes public with her holiday photos.
Her Majesty, who made sure her meeting with Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and the three kids remained a secret at the Highgrove House, is shocked as Megan went ahead and shared private detail details of a UK trip on Instagram.
A source tells New Idea: "Camilla's words appear to have fallen on deaf ears.
"She feels that she was clear about no social media posts and if Meghan thinks Allthorp was an exception, she was very wrong."
"She made it clear that this was for Archie and Lilibet," the insider explained, "but if there were any leaks about their meeting, the door would be closed forever."
Queen Camilla has earned a reputation of an avid reader and her love for books is reflected in the charity she founded around the Covid lockdown, The Queen’s reading room. She encourages the young and old alike to connect with the “special magic” of books.
In the same vein, the royal is now supporting the power to deliver real stories via journalism as a new award is announced by the Journalists’ Charity. Camilla has been the patron of the organisation since 2022.
It was founded in 1864 by Charles Dickens, and it received a Royal Charter in 1890 from Queen Victoria. Now, it has announced the Queen Camilla Future of Journalism Awards.
“We’re deeply honoured that as our Patron, Her Majesty The Queen is backing the charity’s efforts to support new talent at a time when journalism has never been more important,” the Chief Executive of the Journalists’ Charity James Brindle said.
“It’s a privilege to launch this groundbreaking new awards scheme which is set to unlock opportunities for many younger journalists nationwide,” he said. “The awards will make a real difference every year, giving the stars of the future the tools they need to take their career to the next level.”
