King Charles' mood can instantly change around THIS royal person
Why Queen Camilla is said to have a transformative effect on King Charles
King Charles reportedly shares a deep bond with Queen Camilla.
In his book Divide and Rule, royal author has claimed that the wife of the monarch has a magical effect on him.
Catherine Mayer described that Charles' mood noticeably changes whenever Camilla is by his side, particularly when he is under pressure or feeling exhausted.
She shared, "With Camilla, you only need to see her and Charles together to understand that she has this ... magical effect on him. It's transformative."
"You would see him tired, very obviously out of sorts. And then she would come into a room, and he would light up. She just lifts him," she added.
Queen Camilla and King Charles first met in 1970 and briefly dated before their lives took different paths. Later, Her Majesty married Andrew Parker Bowles, while Charles married Princess Diana. Their relationship eventually became public after Diana’s death in 1997, though it faced years of public scrutiny.
The royal author further stated, "I think the non-negotiability was the point after the divorce and, of course, after Diana's death."
"He understood that this was the one woman who could really sustain him. And I think he felt the need for that kind of support, and Camilla has clearly always been prepared to do that," she added.
