King Charles employs ‘cloak-and-dagger’ approach against Kate, William for big hurdle of his reign
King Charles’ plan to get Prince Archie, Princess Lilibet had a sneaky element: Everything to know
Many questions have cropped up about the meeting that took place at Highgrove House between Prince Harry’s family and the King, and one thing has just been brought to light.
According to Vanity Fair royal correspondent Katie Nicholl the actual meeting was shroweded in so much mystery that barely anyone knew it would even take place.
According to some sources, “not even the Prince and Princess of Wales were made aware that the meeting was taking place” and the entire thing looked like “completely cloak-and-dagger, orchestrated by the king.”
For those unversed with the location of the Prince at the time, he was in attendance at the DMI Royal Charity Polo Cup 2026 at Guards Polo Club in Windsor, alongside Kate Middleton.
As for what the Prince is said to feel about the whole thing, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams came forward.
He says, “[William] feels Harry has violated those rules one too many times. It's not entirely personal. William has a strong sense of duty when it comes not only to his family but also to his country and his family's place in history. He feels Harry has shot the royal family's reputation full of holes. And for what? To become a SoCal influencer?”
A similar comment comes from British royal expert Hilary Fordwich, even if more emotionally charged. She said, “Prince William is no fool. Every time his zero-tolerance approach is proven correct, his influence increases.”
