Macaulay Culkin gearing up for ‘Home Alone’ sequel

Macaulay Culkin is all set to headline and all new Home Alone.

It is revealed that the actor is ready to reprise his role as Kevin McCallister for the movie.

A source tells PEOPLE that Home Alone sequel is expected to go on the floors.

They noted: “It’s in the early stages, very early. It’s just an idea and an almost green light from Disney.”

“Disney loved Macaulay’s idea and everyone wants to see this happen,” the source added.

“I kind of had this idea,” Culkin said at his A Nostalgic Night with Macaulay Culkin tour as he spoke about the new project.

“I’m either a widower or a divorcee. I’m raising a kid and all that stuff. I’m working really hard, and I’m not really paying enough attention, and the kid is kind of getting miffed at me, and then I get locked out,” he added earlier.
