Meghan Markle credits Prince Harry for helping her survive difficult times
Meghna Markle opens up struggles and the advice she'll never forget
Meghan Markle ahs shared a heartfelt piece of advice from her partner, Prince Harry.
On Tuesday, Meghan made rare public appearance at a special Los Angeles screening of Cookie Queens, the Girl Scout documentary she executive produced alongside Harry through Archewell Productions.
During a post-screening Q&A, Meghan reflected on resilience and revealed that one lesson Harry learned during his decade as a helicopter pilot in the British Army continues to inspire her.
Recalling her conversation with Harry, Meghan said, "I think so much of it, funny enough, I was thinking about something my husband told me ages ago, because we all go through experiences and life is full of surprises."
"But, you know, he was a helicopter pilot in the British Army for ten years. And sometimes on really hard days, he was like, ‘My love, you know, even if there’s a storm happening, above the storm, the sun’s always shining.’ And that’s a perspective that only comes from zooming out a little bit," he added.
It is pertinent to mention that this event marked Meghan Markle's first public appearance in months. She recently shared photos from her family's summer holiday on Instagram.
The images included visits to Portugal and the United Kingdom, including Althorp House, the Spencer family estate where Princess Diana is buried.
Notably, Meghan, Harry and their kids Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet were photographed paying tribute during the private family visit.
