Meghan Markle gives fans peek inside her Hollywood night out

Meghan Markle made her first public appearance in months on Tuesday!

The Duchess of Sussex stepped out in Los Angeles for a special screening of the documentary Cookie Queens, which she executive produced alongside her husband Prince Harry.

Following the event, Meghan took to her official Instagram handle and shared behind-the-scenes photos from the screening. Meghan attended the event at AMC The Grove wearing a relaxed all-white ensemble paired with Hermès Santorini sandals.

This marked her first public outing since traveling to Geneva in May. Meghan captioned the snap with "@cookiequeensfilm in theaters August 7th."

For those uanware, Cookie Queens, a documentary directed by Alysa Nahmias follows four Girl Scouts as they compete in cookie sales while learning lessons about leadership, resilience, and entrepreneurship. This project reportedly holds significance for the former Suits alum, who was a Girl Scout growing up in Los Angeles, where her mother, Doria Ragland, served as her troop leader.

During the screening, Meghan Markle also participated in a Q&A with director Alysa Nahmias, where she reflected on overcoming life's challenges. The Duchess of Sussex also shared the advice Prince Harry once gave her from his years as a British Army helicopter pilot, she recalled him saying that "even if there's a storm happening, above the storm, the sun's always shining."
