Prince Harry has seemingly turned over a new leaf and this time he’s said to be working on bringing his wife along for the ride because their future is said to rely on what they do next.

These ‘rules’ behind the scenes are said to be part of Prince Harry’s efforts to continue building bridges with his father because he has no idea “how much time” is left with the cancer ridden monarch.

Now a fly on the wall has come forward to drop the details of their conversations.

According to them, “everyone has reached the point where enough is enough,” and even Harry understands that rebuilding trust “won’t happen overnight” and that “actions are going to matter far more than words.”

This is why they say, “Harry had a very frank conversation with Meghan and told her they couldn’t keep doing things their own way.”

Allegedly the spare feels “if they want any chance of rebuilding bridges with the royals, they have to accept Charles’ conditions and stop fighting every battle. No more interviews, books or disparaging remarks about family members.”

For those unversed, “it didn’t go down well at first, because Meghan felt she was being asked to compromise too much – but Harry made it clear this was their last opportunity.”

It may also spell a future filled with family visits, like Balmoral summers or Christmas and while “having everyone on the estate wouldn’t necessarily be a grand reconciliation,” the source made clear, “but simply being in the same place would represent progress” to Harry. Moreover, he’s said to believe “any opportunity for the cousins to spend time together would also be significant,” especially “after years of growing up on opposite sides of the Atlantic.”

To this end Harry and Meghan are planning for Portugal to be their base until the beginning of September, to enable travel back and forth to the UK as needed” if King Charles spares the invite.

“If that visit goes ahead, it could create an uncomfortable situation for William and Kate,” though the same insider admitted.

Near the end they also noted, “the King has never stopped wanting a relationship with Archie and Lilibet. Whatever’s happened between the adults, he doesn’t want the children growing up without knowing their wider family. Charles remains hopeful the youngsters will have a place within the wider royal family, although there are differing views about how that might look in practice. But the King is conscious they’re his grandchildren and he wants them to be part of the family.”

As for Harry’s point of view, he’s all in because he believes this summer could be the family’s “best opportunity yet” to begin “writing a different chapter,” as its been put.

“He knows there are no guarantees,” they clarified before concluding, but “he also knows that opportunities like this won’t be around forever. If there’s going to be a way back, everyone has to be prepared to meet in the middle.”
