Prince Harry shares major update on Invictus Games Birmingham 2027 after meeting with King Charles

Prince Harry, who recently held a secret meeting with his father King Charles, has shared a major update on Invictus Games Birmingham 2027.

Archie and Lilibet doting father released the statement after the selection of the Republic of Korea to host the Invictus Games Daejeon 2029, saying it marks an exciting new chapter for the Invictus Movement.

He said, “Since 2014, we’ve seen the power of sport to support recovery, challenge perceptions of disability and build a global community united by resilience, service and hope. Bringing the Games to Asia will allow that mission to reach even further.”

However, talking about the 2027 games in the city of his home country, Prince Harry said, “Our focus now is on Birmingham 2027, where we’ll celebrate the extraordinary determination of our competitors in the city that helped shape our community.”

Moreover, the Duke said Daejeon 2029 will build on that legacy, expanding the reach and impact of the Invictus Movement.

Harry went on saying when one person is empowered to heal, the impact extends far beyond the individual.

“Families are strengthened, communities benefit, and the example of recovery inspires others to believe that life after injury or illness can be defined not by limitation, but by possibility.”

“As we look ahead to Birmingham, Daejeon and beyond, we continue to grow a movement that reminds every member of our community that recovery is possible, strength is found in one another, and no one has to face that journey alone,” King Charles younger son said days after meeting the monarch.
