Prince William upset as Meghan Markle ‘has part in tribute to Princess Diana’
Prince William does not trust Prince Harry and Meghan Markle over Princess Diana tribute
Prince William is not happy with Prince Harry‘s recent tribute to Princess Diana.
The Duke of Sussex, who took wife Meghan Markle and both of their kids to Althorp this month, seemingly wanted to pay homage ahead of Diana’s 30th death anniversary.
A source tells Closer: “It was an emotional and cathartic occasion for Harry, and such a special honour for Meghan and the kids to be included too. They’re extremely proud of Harry for being so protective and proactive about maintaining his mother’s legacy. He sees this as his birthright, but he’s also very keen for the family to be included – though he treats the topic with the utmost sensitivity.”
“Harry intends to honour his mother in a special and meaningful way. He’s more committed than ever to making it happen, and the precise arrangements are currently being planned as an ongoing priority,” they added.
“William is suspicious that obtaining footage for a docuseries about Diana is the real motivator for Meghan to come on this trip. It upsets him that she’s going to have any part in this tribute to his mother. He blames her for tearing the family apart and doesn’t believe for a second that Diana would approve,” said the source.
