Prince George demands to be ‘part of collective’ in special request
Prince George made a small request to print William and Kate Middleton about his future
Prince George was supported by Prince William and Kate Middleton after one request.
The young prince, who is second in line to the British Royal throne, asked his parents if he could board at Lambrook school before he joins Eton.
“He asked them if he could board weekly at Lambrook,” royal author and journalist Robert Jobson told the Daily Mai.
The expert added that both the Prince and Prince of Wales agreed to Prince George’s request.
“It helped him grow, to be part of a collective,” Jobson continued.
This comes months after Prince William revealed on Britain's Heart Radio in May.
“Charlotte and Louis—because George is boarding last night—Charlotte and Louis, if you're listening, make sure you're on time, please, make sure you're not fighting over who listens to what, this morning,” he said during the radio show.
Prince George has indicated that he is ready to take on the challenges that lie ahead as he embarks on a new journey of his royal life in a matter of weeks.
According to a close friend of the Waleses, George is “just like any other teen” behind closed doors but takes his role “very seriously”.
“He’s not an extrovert or a show-off,” the pal told The Sun. “In fact, he’s quite a sensitive soul who’s very into conservation, like his father and grandfather, and music.”
Meanwhile, there is one challenge that he will be facing is making friends and interacting with his peers, knowing fully well the status he holds.
“George is very aware of who he is, and that has made him extremely cautious with friendships,” he revealed. “You have to feel for him really, it’s a very difficult thing to know you will be the future King of England.”
