Prince Harry, Meghan Markle put their ‘reputations’ at risk for good: Life after UK trip promises bigger woes
Prince Harry given strict orders after Sussex UK visit ends successfully – but its not yet done and dusted
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s UK tour is currently being dubbed one of the most successful efforts made by the Sussexes in years but one PR expert has a separate thought, a thought that promises more ‘challenges’ from their camp before things actually settle – in the eyes of the apprehensive Firm that is.
The expert in question is the founder of PR and branding agency The Atticism, Renae Smith.
She spoke to the Daily Express when getting into this, and according to her the reason she thinks the main challenge is yet to come is because “reputations are rebuilt through repeated behaviour”, over long periods of time, “not one well-managed visit,” which she highlighted as paramount.
For Prince Harry and Meghan Markle specifically she said, “the challenge for Harry and Meghan has always been consistency.”
Time and time again its been observed, from the Sussex camp that just when things begin to ‘settle’, “something usually happens that pulls them back into controversy or creates another contradictory headline.”
So the “real question” in her view “isn’t whether this trip was successful,” because speaking specifically from the PR world, “yes, it was” she said.
In reality, the real question is “whether they can repeat this approach another ten times…” and “for this, we must wait and see,” she made clear the end.
