Meghan Markle father Thomas feels 'devastated' after Archie, Lilibet reunited with King Charles
Meghan Markle's father Thomas has never even met his grandchildren Archie and Lilibet
A royal expert has revealed Meghan Markle’s father Thomas Markle true feelings about grandchildren Archie and Lilibet meeting with King Charles.
Speaking to the Daily Express, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams has shared Thomas Markle’s true feelings after Meghan, Harry and their kids reunited with King Charles in UK recently, however, he still awaits seeing his grandchildren for the first time.
Last Friday, a reunion took place at Highgrove House between King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
The monarch hosted the California-based royals at his private home, marking the first time they have seen the grandchildren Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, since 2022.
Richard Fitzwilliams says: “It is a matter of record that Thomas Markle, Meghan’s father, participated in staged paparazzi photos before her wedding whilst still in Mexico, when he was expected to walk Meghan down the aisle. Then his health collapsed.”
“However, what is certain is that Meghan, who was largely brought up by her father who was once an award winning Hollywood lightning director, has never forgiven him.
“He has subsequently become a fierce critic of his daughter. She preaches positivity relentlessly, but clearly does not practice it.
“He is likely, since she will reportedly not see or be in contact with him, to feel devastated at the recent news (the King meeting Archie and Lilibet). The breach with Meghan is highly unlikely ever to be repaired.”
Thomas Markle has never even met his grandchildren Archie and Lilibet, having been estranged from Meghan since 2018.
