Meghan Markle has managed to make people wonder if the Emmys are even credible anymore and it’s all because they decided to name her as one of the nominees for their Outstanding Lifestyle Program category despite the second season not even making it to Netflix’s Top 10.

The entire thing is being shared by a well placed source who just spoke to Naughty But Nice.

According to their findings its becoming fact now that “the Emmys have been accused of chasing buzz instead of excellence for years,” in the eyes of one source and it has prompted them to add, “this nomination won’t silence those critics—it hands them fresh ammunition.”

Another chimed in soon after, in the same conversation and said, “Award shows are fighting for attention. Putting Meghan Markle on the red carpet guarantees global coverage. That’s a bigger win for the Emmys than recognizing a series that never became a cultural phenomenon.”

But that’s not all because even a veteran producer came forward to the celebrity news reporter’s Substack to speak about this, and he said, “if this was truly Emmy-caliber television, why wasn’t Netflix doing everything possible to keep it alive? That’s the question everyone in town is asking.”

Over all, at this point its become fact that “nobody’s debating the show” as a whole. “They’re debating the credibility of the Emmys.”

Before concluding they also added, “every awards season there’s one nomination that leaves Hollywood scratching its head. This year’s conversation is Meghan.”
