Former Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson is secretly planning to return to Britain after Meghan Markle’s meeting with King Charles and Queen Camilla.

Sarah, who was spotted in Austria recently following her and Andrew’s eviction from the Royal Lodge and removal of their titles, hopes to spend more time in Britain with daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie—and, most importantly, her grandchildren.

This has been claimed by royal expert Rob Shuter in his latest piece for Naughty But Nice susbstack.

“Sarah Ferguson has privately accepted that her days as a public royal figure are over,” sources tell Naughty But Nice, but she still hopes to spend more time in UK with Beatrice, Eugenie and their children.

The royal insider says, “Sarah knows there’s no road back to public life. She’s made peace with that. What she wants now isn’t a comeback—it’s a normal family life surrounded by the people she loves.”

The friends of Sarah have warned that even a quieter return won’t be easy.

Another close confidant said Sarah knows there won’t be a warm welcome from the Royal Family or London’s social circles.

“She’s realistic. The headlines haven’t gone away, and neither has the controversy surrounding Andrew and her friendship with Jeffrey Epstein.”

Sarah was last seen publicly in the spring of 2026 at the exclusive Mayrlife wellness clinic in Altaussee, Austria, following photographs taken at a secluded mountain retreat in the Austrian Alps.

The fresh claims came a few days after King Charles reunited with Meghan Markle, Prince Harry and their children despite their rift.
