Prince William sweetly hugs Princess Charlotte as she marks 'best papa's special day

Prince William is being celebrated as the world's "best Papa" by his kids and wife Kate Middleton on his birthday.

​On Sunday, June 21, the Prince of Wales received a heartfelt birthday wish from his partner, the Princess of Wales, and their kids Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis as William turned 41 today.

​As Father's Day is also celebrated on the third Sunday of June worldwide, William received the double honor by his family.

​"Happy birthday and Father’s Day to the best Papa in the World!" the caption read along with an adorable snap of Charlotte receiving a side hug from her dad.

​"We love you very much," they noted, and signed off the post along with Kate, George, Charlotte and Louis' initials in the caption.

​In the picture, Charlotte can be seen wearing an off-white frock while William donned the red uniform of the British Army.

​The future king also received a sweet birthday message from his father King Charles.

​The monarch took to his social media account and posted a picture, featuring the father-son duo deeply immersed in a conversation.

​Charles wrote over the picture, "Happy Birthday to The Prince of Wales."
