'Children always give me hope': Kate Middleton talks about kids ahead of Archie, Lilibet visit
Kate Middleton also said, "dream and play remind me of the very best qualities of humanity"
Princess of Wales Kate Middleton has opened up about the early childhood in an essay days before Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s children Archie and Lilibet return to Britain.
Archie and Lilibet are set to join their parents for UK trip next month.
Princess Kate, in the essay on the Centre for Early Childhood, has said, “Children always give me hope. Their natural openness, their curiosity about the simplest of things, and their ability to wonder, dream and play remind me of the very best qualities of humanity.”
The charity took to Instagram and shared photo of the Princess with kids and revealed quotes of Kate.
“It is vital to preserve the spirit of childhood alongside healthy development. Childhood is foundational in developing a healthy balance between mind, body and spirit.”
She continued, “But children are not simply learners of information. They don’t analyse joy but live it; they don’t intellectualise connection, but embody it. They experience the world through feeling – through love.”
The future queen also talked about healthy social and emotional development through relationships with people and places.
“This happens everywhere, all the time: through movement and play, curiosity and interaction. When children are encouraged to explore, to question, and to express themselves freely, they develop not only understanding, but a sense of self and belonging.”
