Taylor Swift marks final day before 'Toy Story 5' release
Taylor Swift turns up the hype for 'Toy Story 5' with sweet childhood memory
Taylor Swift has sent fans into frenzy after sharing a behind the scenes glimpse ahead of Toy Story 5 release.
Just a day before the release of the film, which features her original song, I Knew It, I Knew You, Swift took to Instagram and began the final count down.
She posted a childhood photo of herself and behind-the-scenes glimpse from the Toy Story 5 song recording.
Swift wrote, "TOMORROW WE GET TS5."
"Oh how I love this phenomenal movie," she noted. "Disney and @pixar’s @toystory 5 is in theaters everywhere tomorrow (!!!!!)"
In the video clip, the Grammy-winning artist shared in her post, Swift can be seen in the recording studio.
Calling it one of the "most fun days of my life," Swift revealed that she had seen the Toy Story 5 and got so inspired that she went home and wrote the end credit song.
"We have now produced it and I am doing vocals, it's 6:57 PM in two hours Bob Iger and Tom from Pixar are coming to hear it," she said in the video. Noting, "We have not recorded it yet."
I Knew It, I Knew You, the track Taylor Swift wrote for the Toy Story 5 is inspired by Jessie, the beloved cowgirl character.
Swift co-wrote and co-produced the song with longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff. Sharing the news with her fasn, the Love Story singer said that writing for the franchise had been a lifelong dream.
She wrote on Instagram, "Writing this song felt like a musical departure and coming home at the same time. Creating something for Jessie was a new challenge and also felt like second nature all at once. And being a @toystory kid from the age of 5 til now… is an adventure I plan to be on, to infinity and beyond."
"Thank you to the brilliant Andrew Stanton for imagining me for this, all those years ago when you wrote this newest film. Thank you to the incomparable @randynewmanofficial for the gorgeous sonic tapestry of songs and scores you’ve meticulously woven over the years. You created the Toy Story musical world, and we are lucky to get to live in it."
"By we, I mean myself and my pal @jackantonoff. We wrote this with so much adoration for these characters that made us laugh and helped us learn lessons and think outside the backyard all throughout our childhoods. “I Knew It, I Knew You” from Toy Story 5 is out everywhere now," the Grammy-winner added.
