Meghan Markle had lunch with former US TV host Ellen DeGeneres on Monday
Prince Harry on Monday attended the 2026 WellChild Awards at the Royal Lancaster London hotel.
The awards honor the courage of children and young people with serious health conditions as well as the dedication of nurses and caregivers.
His wife, Meghan Markle, on Tuesday shared Prince Harry’s video from the event on her Instagram Stories with Same Gerret’s “I’m a lover, I was born this way”.
The Duchess of Sussex herself was seen for the first time on Monday since her arrival in the UK.
A video showed the Duchess of Sussex meeting Ellen DeGeneres for a lunch at The Three Horseshoes near Burford, Oxfordshire.
The wife of Prince Harry made the public appearance amid speculation that Meghan Markle might not be in the UK.
Their meeting appeared to confirm earlier reports that Meghan Markle was in touch with the former US TV host before she moved to the United Kingdom.
The reports said that Ellen DeGeneres helped the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to find a place in the UK.
