Prince William and Kate Middleton have special reasons for sending Prince George to Eton College
Prince William and Kate Middleton made decision for Prince George’s future school after careful consideration.
The second in line to British royal throne, Prince George is said to join Eton from September-a decision collectively made by his parents as an ode to the royal family legacy.
A source told the Daily Express: “The decision wasn’t just about George, they had to factor in Charlotte and Louis as well.
They added: “William is thrilled that his son wanted to follow in his footsteps. He’s incredibly proud.”
This comes as the Kensington Palace announced on Tuesday: “Kensington Palace can confirm that Prince George will attend Eton College from this September.”
Meanwhile, speaking about William’s personality from back in school, a friend tells the Daily Telegraph:
"We weren't in awe of William, and I don't think he would have wanted us to be.”
He added: "You have to remember that at Eton, he never stood out that much - there were boys from even richer families than his, and also boys from very old English aristocratic stock, who could trace their lineage back thousands of years, and who would tease William for being an upstart German.
