Savannah's mother Nancy disappearance was a targeted kidnapping, not a random crime
A private investigator has spoken out about the whereabouts of US TV host Savannah Guthrie’s mother Nancy, who was abducted from her home in February.
As anonymous tip spurred a ground search for Nancy Guthrie in Mexico, the private investigator thinks they're looking in the wrong place.
The expert further said that authorities have their eyes on a subject in the kidnapping.
Speaking in the episode of Criminally Obsessed, licensed private investigator Bill Garcia also believes Nancy’s disappearance was a targeted kidnapping, not a random crime.
The expert said he believes Nancy was taken to Northern Arizona.
The fresh claims came after Pima County Sheriff's Department said, "The investigation into Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance remains active and ongoing. When there is a significant update, it will be shared publicly."
The officials released the statement regarding information circulating online related to the Nancy Guthrie investigation.
Earlier on June 12, the department also issued a statement regarding information circulating online related to the Nancy Guthrie investigation.
They said, “We are aware of reports regarding an anonymous tip related to the Nancy Guthrie investigation that was provided to a group in Mexico. At this time, we have not been contacted by Mexican authorities.
