Role Model, whose real name is Tucker Harrington Pillsbury, recently got candid and announced that he is ending his famous “Sally” celebrity guest trend.

For those unfamiliar, Sally is the title and central character of the 29-year-old American singer-songwriter and former rapper’s breakout hit song Sally, When the Wine Runs Out from the deluxe edition of his second studio album, Kansas Anymore (The Longest Goodbye), which he dropped on Valentine’s Day in 2025.

In addition to its indie-pop style, the song gained popularity for Model’s concert tradition of inviting luminaries and fans on stage to be “Sally” for the night.

While chatting with Rolling Stone during his recent interview, Model opened up about why he has decided to end the unique trend.

He told the outlet, "I think I’m done,” mentioning that he has “no plans to keep that going” in his Barcelona show at the Primavera Sound music festival the upcoming weekend.

Referring to his forthcoming album, Chuck Timely & The Hourglass, the Notice Me crooner explained, "I think it’s good to know when to end a bit. If this album wasn’t good, I’d be like, 'Yeah, we should probably keep the Sally bit going, I gotta sell tickets.' But I feel very good about this record, and I don’t think people will even give a s******, to be honest."
