Huda Mustafa, famed for appearing in Love Island, has launched her music career with the release of her debut single Bad Girls, though the accompanying music video has drawn mixed reactions online.

The 25-year-old reality television personality released the video on Friday, featuring a series of office-themed visuals.

Scenes include Mustafa dancing on a receptionist desk, crawling across a boardroom table, and sitting among dismantled computers before the clip ends in a chaotic sequence involving sparks, flying papers and a woman carrying a sword.

Many fans were impressed by Mustafa’s “first attempt” at making a music video, praising her talent and creative skills.

“OMG. For this being her first song it literally sounds amazing YOU’RE AMAZING HUDA,” one fan wrote.

Another penned, “I love that its a bad girl anthem with no bad words and positive self affirmations,” while a third commented, “Guys don’t forget this is her first project and she ATEEEEE.”

However, it may just be the dramatic imagery contrasted with the slower R&B sound of the track, which led to some listeners criticizing her work shortly after its release.

“we have to stop letting everyone think they can be a singer cause what is this,” one user wrote on X.

“She looks so lazy. Like she doesn’t even wanna be doing it. It reminds me of Kim Zolciak doing the least while performing,” another mentioned.

A third criticised, “What is she even saying ... we went from mumble rap to mumble singing.”

The criticism also increased as many viewers continued to reference Mustafa’s past controversy involving accusations that she laughed after a fan used a racial slur directed at former co-star Olandria Carthen during a livestream in 2025.

Following backlash at the time, Mustafa apologised, stating, “I apologize for my immediate reaction. My reaction in that moment came from being caught off guard, not from finding the word or situation funny.”
