Sabrina Carpenter has reportedly been granted a temporary restraining order against a man she alleges appeared at her Los Angeles residence without permission.

As per the court documents, the singer sought legal protection from a 31-year-old man identified as William Applegate. Carpenter claims the first incident occurred on May 23, when Applegate allegedly arrived at her home uninvited despite having no prior relationship or communication with her.

The Espresso hitmaker described the encounter as alarming in her filing and said the man's actions appeared intentional and aggressive. She stated that security camera footage captured him outside her front door, where he allegedly attempted to open the door before ringing the bell.

Furthermore, the filing reveals that the members of Carpenter’s security team confronted the man and instructed him to leave the property. However, the singer alleges he refused to comply until law enforcement officers arrived and arrested him. She further claimed that the man falsely suggested he knew her, despite the two never having met.

The outlet quoted Carpenter stating, "William Applegate is a complete stranger to me. I have never met him or communicated with him in any way."

"I have no desire to meet him or communicate with him," she added.

Moreover, Carpenter revealed that the incidents did not end there as Applegate returned to the property on May 24, less than 24 hours after the initial arrest, and again on May 25, which prompted additional interventions by security personnel and police.

Now, a judge has issued a temporary restraining order requiring the man to stay away from Sabrina Carpenter, her sister Sarah Carpenter, and Sarah’s boyfriend, George.

Next, the court hearing is scheduled for June 17 to determine whether the order will be extended or made permanent.
