Suki Waterhouse shares raw truth about Robert Pattinson romance after motherhood

For years, Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse have been in a relationship.

But it all changed after the couple welcomed their first child last year, according to Waterhouse.

In an interview with Variety, the 34-year-old acknowledged the new realities amid parenthood.

"Your old relationship has been wiped out," she said, before insisting her love for Pattison did not wane.

"And so it's building that new one and kind of celebrating the beauty in that, like, we've survived this."

However, the journey of motherhood, Waterhouse says, is an emotional rollercoaster.

As she explains, in addition to her relationship, her identity as well has been touched by it.

"I felt like my identity had been cut open in becoming a mother and also having a lot of expectations on myself." 

In a brutally honest manner, Waterhouse also added, "Internally, there's been quite a lot of turmoil and just wondering if I'm doing the right thing."

Then the hormones.

Waterhouse, whose upcoming album Loveland is set to drop in early July, revealed the intensity of hormones after given birth.

"And especially, oh my God, the hormones right after you have a baby are so intense." 

She continued, It's like [I got] belief back in myself and then also being."

The musician said her appreciation for her partner multiplied multi-fold during the period.

"I don't want to say back in love with my partner, because it sounds like I was out of it, which I never was."

Waterhouse and Pattison began dating in 2018.

Then, they got engaged in 2023.
