Prince William, Kate Middleton do not have a ‘yeoman’ at home
Prince William and Kate Middleton do not want to boost staff members in new home
Prince William and Kate Middleton have strict rules around the house when it comes to staff.
The Prince and Princess of Wales ensure they are not dependent on a lot of house help and get their hands dirty.
Royal biographer Robert Hardman wrote in his book, Charles III: New King. New Court. The Inside Story said: “The couple did not seek to boost the staff numbers.”
He added that their team “does include a 'yeoman', a multi-tasking attendant who looks after everything from luggage to uniforms.”
“And certainly no butler,” adds a source. “It’s very much them at home with the kids.”
This comes as Prince William spoke about how his kids help around the house with BBC
“We go through all the basics of recycling, making sure we minimise water use, and turning off lights when we leave the house and things like that.”
He added: “I think every family has these conversations,” the prince said. “You just try to do what you can."
