King Charles reaction to Meghan Markle's latest olive branch comes to light
Meghan Markle's father-in-law King Charles is also seen in the photos
A royal expert has revealed reaction of King Charles and other members of the royal family to Meghan Markle’s alleged olive branch on her and Prince Harry’s 8th wedding anniversary.
Meghan apparently offered subtle olive branch to her father-in-law King Charles as she marked the eighth wedding anniversary in California.
Meghan and Harry tied the knot in Windsor on 19th May 2018, and have since welcomed two children; Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
In a separate post, Meghan shared a carousel of snaps from the ceremony held at Windsor Castle, including one of the newlyweds sharing a tender moment after their nuptials, and another behind-the-scenes photo of the pair having their official wedding portrait taken.
The Duchess posted the photos with caption, “Eight years ago today.”
In one of the photos, Meghan’s father-in-law King Charles is also seen.
Fans have started speculating that the Duchess has apparently extended an olive branch to the monarch by sharing his photo amid ongoing family feud.
Amid this development, royal expert Rob Shuter has shared King Charles and the royal family’s reaction to Meghan’s gesture.
He claimed that no senior royal publicly or privately contacted Meghan and Harry to mark the occasion.
“There was no phone call, no private message, no peace offering — absolutely nothing,” the source said and added “The silence was very intentional.”
