With Kate Middleton taking over the media circuit with her first solo tour since cancer, it seems Queen Camilla is undergoing something utterly the opposite. According to some she’s full starting to “crumble under the pressure”.

According to Woman’s Day a royal sleuth has even come as far as to say it shows up a lot in her lack of following Palace policy as of late.

The most recent incident where she broke protocol was at today’s State Opening of Parliament. On the world stage, with photographers in toe she upset courtiers by walking against of King Charles.

However, one source even pointed out that that’s not the only incident. As they put it “just google ‘Camilla walks ahead of Charles’ and you’ll find this isn’t the first time she’s done it, but what’s set off alarm bells is the fact she did it in front of the world’s press on the steps at parliament.”

Today’s move “upset more than a few courtiers,” the source siad, courtiers “who had to remind her tirelessly on several occasions.”

In terms of reasons, hypothesis are many, but the biggest of them is King Charles’ cancer and prognosis.

While his specific type of cancer is undisclosed the insider claims “no doubt Charles’ comments about his health would have been distressing for Camilla to hear, but a growing number of friends say she’s not coping at all with the demands put on her husband right now – and even worse is his refusal to put a stop to it.” All in all its becoming clear to many that Camilla’s “starting to crumble under the pressure.”

Compared to her, Kate has been hailed as a trailblazer for being the first royal to make moves that were once seen as ‘provocative’. Some of those decisions include shunning Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor earlier on.

According to a separate source “It was easy to assume it was William’s decision but Kate was the one to take that leap.”
