Kesha just opened up about the fact that she turned her mother's placenta into a necklace.

The 39-year-old pop star has revealed her mom Rosemary ordered doctors not to throw away her placenta when she gave birth to her daughter explaining the new mother took it home, baked it and stored it in a box in the family's basement for two decades before Kesha rediscovered it and had it made into a piece of jewellery that she now carries everywhere with her.

The Tik Tok star made the revelation during an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast after she lost the necklace during the interview.

Kesha explained, "So your placenta supposedly gives you second sight, helps open your third eye. This is according to my mother. So, she stuck it in the oven. She put it in a box, and she found it when I was like 21 years old in the basement...”

"She fought for that [to stop the doctors throwing it away], so now I carry it around...” she added.

The Blow singer also mentioned the making of the placenta into jewellery, "Throw it in the blender, pop it in a necklace. Work!"

Kesha went on to say, "I love a good ritual. Right? Like, I'm a cult leader … And I just, I love a ritual that reminds me of this, like, esoteric world I prefer to live in.”

"Like down here on Earth, boring. But like, when I go up into, like, with my spirit guides and the whole realm of angels. Like, that's where I prefer to be. It's kind of fun,” the pop star said.

Kesha also collects teeth and has them made into jewellery revealing she has specimens from her loved ones as well as her beloved cats.

She explained, "It just reminds me when I have a little piece of the people I love. I've been collecting them for a while now … I have my cats had to get their little teeth taken out because they were I don't know.”

"They're little kitty wisdom teeth. I collect those too. I'm like the tooth fairy,” Kesha gushed as she detailed her fondness of keeping different things from her loved ones real close.
