Elon Musk accuses Anthropic’s Claude AI of ‘woke’ bias
'Your AI hates Whites & Asians, especially Chinese, heterosexuals and men,' Musk says
After calling Anthropic “misanthropic and evil,” Elon Musk has once again slammed the company’s AI model Claude as “woke.”
In a recent post Elon Musk took an aim at Anthropic, stating “Claude is woke and their logo looks like an anal sphincter.”
The derogatory remarks of the SpaceX CEO came in response to a post on X, which shows Claude’s woke biasness, calling assassinated Charlie Kirk as a “bad person” and George Floyed as “good” one.
The clash between xAI founder and Anthropic started when the CEO Dario Amodei announced a $30 billion funding round valuing the company at $380 billion.
The announcement drew sharp response from the 54-year-old tech billionaire and he accused Anthropic of allegedly sowing demographic and racial bias.
Taking to X in February, Musk posted, “Your AI hates Whites & Asians, especially Chinese, heterosexuals and men. This is misanthropic and evil. Fix it.”
“Frankly, I don’t think there is anything you can do to escape the inevitable irony of Anthropic ending up being Misanthropic. You were doomed to this fate when you chose your name. The Name of the Wind,” he added.
In contrast to Anthropic’s efforts to sow ideological bias, Musk has always framed his efforts to build AI models like Grok based on truth seeking capabilities.
In a recent post, Musk claims that only Grok speaks the truth. The safest AI will be the one that speaks truth and understands the universe through an unbiased lens.
According to the CEO of Tesla, the next big trial would be the Galileo test in which the models must seek truth without prejudices to prove true intelligence.
