Sarah Ferguson in hiding as arrest fears grow after Andrew was taken into custody
Sarah Ferguson reportedly remains overseas amid mounting legal pressure and arrest concerns
Sarah Ferguson is reportedly staying away from the UK amid growing legal pressure on “disgraced” Andrew and fears of getting arrested.
According to British journalist and gossip columnist Rob Shuter, the former Duchess of York is taking refuge in the UAE with the help of a wealthy friend who is providing security and privacy.
An insider described Fergie’s situation as a “gilded exile,” offering financial and emotional support while keeping her out of the public eye.
They said, “She has gone into the fire,” adding, “This isn’t a holiday. It’s survival. She will be arrested next if she returns to the UK.”
“It’s only a matter of time — it’s inevitable,” shared a police source with Shuter.
“She’s being looked after financially and emotionally. But she’s terrified,” the first source added.
Another tipster shared that Ferguson fears that returning home could entangle her in Andrew’s legal troubles.
“There’s a deep fear that if she comes back to the UK, she could be swept up in Andrew’s legal chaos — even locked up herself,” they said.
“The fear feels and reality is real to her,” they said, before adding that “right now, there’s more chance of Meghan Markle returning to England than Fergie.”
“That’s how dark this has become.”
