Andrew arrest fallout: Cops conclude six-day raid at ex-prince's home as misconduct probe intensifies
Thames Valley Police release a press release to share details on their search of Andrew's former residence
A search in Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's former home in Royal Lodge has been completed, says the Thames Valley Police, who first arrested the ex-prince last Thursday on suspicion of public office misuse.
Now, in a statement on X, formerly known as Twitter, the department has released a press release in which Assistant Chief Constable Oliver Wright said, “Officers have now left the location we have been searching in, Berkshire."
"This concludes the search activity that commenced following our arrest of a man in his sixties from Norfolk on Thursday (19/2)."
“We understand the significant public interest in this case, and our investigation remains ongoing," the statement read.
“It is important that our investigators are given the time and space to progress their work. We will provide updates when it is appropriate to do so, but this is unlikely to be for some time," the press release concludes.
It is worth noting that Thames Valley Police began searching Andrew's former home, Royal Lodge at Windsor, from Feb. 19.
