UK government sign off on releasing confidential documents about Andrew: Here’s why now
A major update has just landed regarding Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor
The release of files pertaining to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, have just seen a major update come to pass, and according to the House of Commons the approval has been granted for the release of any and all files pertaining to papers previously dubbed ‘confidential’ in connection with the ex-Duke, from back when he was a Trade Envoy to the UK.
Trade Minister Chris Bryant spoke out about this decision, on behalf of the government.
In his statement he highlighted the reasons behind making this decision, given the accusations of misconduct as well as allegations that he shared government reports with Jeffrey Epstein during his time acting on behalf of the UK people.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s government also backs this motion and made its passage swift.
The statement reads, “Frankly, it is the least we owe the victims of the horrific abuse that was perpetrated by Jeffrey Epstein and others, the abuse that was enabled, aided and abetted by a very extensive group of arrogant, entitled and often wealthy individuals in this country and elsewhere.”
The Trade Minister even went so far as to accuse the Duke of being engaged in a “self-enriching hustle’’ — a “rude, arrogant and entitled man who could not distinguish between the public interest, which he said he served, and his own private interest.’’
However, whats pertinent to mention is that some files will be released in a delayed fashion due to the fact that the police is still currently investigating the former royal.
