Sarah Ferguson takes final step to 'save' what's left of her reputation
Sarah Ferguson 'cuts off all contact' from Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor after benefiting for years
Sarah Ferguson, ex-wife of disgraced Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is taking huge step to save what's left of her reputation amid Epstein scandal.
As reported by a US-based media outlet, Sarah is stepping away from Andrew, with whom she lived for years in Royal Lodge and remained close to even after their divorce in 1996.
Sources told the outlet that the former Duke of York has cut off contact with Andrew following reputational fallout due to scrutiny tied to Jeffrey Epstein.
The source said, "The former duchess benefited from Andrew for years."
Adding, "She lived for free in the Royal Lodge and now that the perks are gone and so is her home, so is her loyalty."
This comes amid renewed attention on a leaked 2011 email in which Sarah apologized to Jeffrey Epstein after previously stating she would no longer associate with him, leading to professional consequences.
Meanwhile, Andrew has faced criticism for his association with the financier Jeffrey Epstein and a multimillion-dollar settlement with accuser Virginia Giuffre, which he agreed to while denying wrongdoing.
Sarah Ferguson reportedly believes that distancing herself from Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor now "might save what's left of her reputation."
"She's realized she doesn't need him or his drama," a friend of Sarah stated. "She's out. She's fed up with living in his mess," the source added.
On the other hand, insiders revealed that ex-Prince Andrew is also looking for a fresh start in the Middle East now.
