Kristen Bell reveals why she secretly loves hosting awards shows: 'Lift the curtain a little bit'
The 'Nobody Wants This' actress is announced as the host of the 32nd Actor Awards
Kristen Bell is opening up about her favorite aspect of hosting the Actor Awards.
The annual award show, formerly known as SAG Awards, announced the Nobody Wants This star as its host for the 32nd Actor Awards.
As the ceremony is all set to be held on March 1, Bell sat down with People ahead of her emceeing gig.
“There's not really an award show, in my opinion, that has a warmer room, a bigger sense of comradery,” Bell remarked, who hosted the show first time in 2018 and then in 2025.
“To have the opportunity to entertain in front of all these people I admire and my friends and my fellow entertainers, it's wonderful."
About Bell's favorite part of hosting, she told the outlet, "Having a teleprompter is being able to use your notes on a test, that's what it feels like."
“It just feels like such a cheat," she noted.
Bell continued, “I do want to lift the curtain a little bit and let the people at home know I'm using a teleprompter. These bits have been written and rewritten and hopefully will entertain to their max capacity.”
She further revealed her biggest onstage fear is "tripping."
“Because I do not like high heels, and that's always the only fear," she added.
