Luke Thompson weighs in on Luke Newton's 'impressive' work ethic
Luke Thompson plays Benedict Bridgerton in the hit Netflix regency series 'Bridgerton'
Luke Thompson has shared rare insight into Luke Newton's work ethic while reflecting on his fellow Bridgerton co-stars.
As fans will know, Thompson, 37, has portrayed Benedict Bridgerton on Netflix’s hit period drama Bridgerton.
The series is based on Julia Quinn’s bestselling novels and has introduced a rotating lineup of leading men over its seasons.
In a new chat with Vanity Fair France, Thompson spoke about how each of the show's male leads has brought something different to the set.
In doing so, he singled out season three's romantic lead, Luke Newton, who played Colin Bridgerton.
Hailing Newton's approach to his work, Thompson described the actor as deeply thoughtful and considerate while filming.
“He has a real sensitivity,” Thompson said of his co-star.
Elaborating on Newton's presence on set, Thompson noted that his quiet demeanor is part of what makes him so effective in the role.
“He's a bit reserved, doesn't talk much, and is careful not to disrupt the crew's concentration,” he concluded.
