Prince William reportedly wants to financially block Prince Harry from family inheritance
Reports say Prince William's view on the matter is based on long-term planning
Prince William is reportedly behind the scenes, actively working to prevent his brother, Prince Harry, from having a share in family inheritances.
Given his sway in the royal family, his opinion has been given weight, an insider claims to Closer magazine.
"William’s influence inside the firm counts for a great deal. When he raises concerns, people listen, including his father,” the source says.
But what is his reason behind allegedly wanting to step aside, the Duke of Sussex, from receiving a stake in the Windsor as well as the Spencers' family inheritance?
Sources claim it's a fear of divorce for Harry and Meghan Markle. “He sees it as his duty to think several steps ahead and to caution others to do the same.”
William, reports say, is so determined on his belief that in the future the Sussex's marriage may get on the rocks that he will stop the inheritance to them at all costs.
"From William’s perspective, trusting them with any future inheritance would be madness, and he’s determined to do everything in his power to make sure that door stays firmly shut," the insider alleges.
In the meantime, Meghan is working on her luxury lifestyle brand, As Ever, as well as focusing on her Netflix show, With Love, Meghan.
