Keanu Reeves’ partner Alexandra Grant looks ahead to ‘more sweet moments’ together in 2026
Keanu Reeves and his longtime partner, Alexandra Grant, is hinting at what’s ahead after welcoming the new year side by side.
The visual artist, 52, shared a photo on Instagram from a New Year’s Eve celebration hosted by Sandra Bernhard at Joe’s Pub, showing herself with Reeves, 61. In her caption, Grant reflected on the past year while expressing hope for the next.
“Here’s to 2026 and more sweet moments together,” Grant wrote, adding that the year’s lessons helped them “fall in love with each other and our work in new ways.” She also wished for creativity, kindness and “more reciprocal pastures” as they move forward.
Grant referenced Reeves’ current Broadway run in Waiting for Godot, which wraps on Jan. 4, and shared broader hopes for peace, art, meaningful conversations and memorable experiences in the year to come.
Reeves and Grant made their public debut as a couple at the LACMA Art + Film Gala in November 2019, though they had been friends and creative collaborators long before that. The pair previously worked together on the 2011 book Ode to Happiness and a 2016 art project inspired by Reeves’ movements.
In recent months, the couple has shut down online speculation that they secretly married, with Grant calling the rumors “fake news” and Reeves joking about the persistent attention surrounding their relationship.
