Cardi B’s BFF on why Stefon Diggs and rapper spent Christmas apart
Cardi and Diggs first sparked romance rumours in February and went public in June
Cardi B’s close friend Ken Barbie has weighed in on why the rapper and her newborn son did not spend Christmas with boyfriend Stefon Diggs.
The blogger, whose real name is Ken Davis, addressed the speculation online, saying both Cardi and Diggs are dealing with blended-family dynamics.
“Cardi has her own kids, Stefon does too,” he wrote, referencing Cardi’s three children, including Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 1, and Diggs’ children with multiple women.
Ken added that co-parenting boundaries aren’t always straightforward and take time to navigate, especially for a relatively new couple.
Ken also responded to renewed attention around Diggs welcoming multiple children within a short time frame, saying the information was not new and questioning why people were suddenly shocked.
He said Diggs's choosing to spend the holidays with his children shouldn’t be seen as controversial. The friend elaborated that Cardi would never support a partner who didn’t show up for his kids.
On Christmas Day, Diggs shared photos of himself celebrating with several of his children, including newborns and a toddler daughter.
The NFL star later reposted a photo of Cardi holding their son, who was born last month, which led to confirmation that they spent the holiday separately.
