Why was Kanye West missing from kids' celebrations on Christmas?

As Christmas passed, Kim Kardashian offered an insight into her celebration with all four children.

North, 12, Saint, nine, Chicago, six, and Psalm, five, were all decked out for the festive season as they posed in front of Christmas trees.

However, the adorable portrait was missing one person: their father, Kanye West. Recent posts on social media indicate he is overseas, probably in Japan.

Though his relationship with his ex-wife Kim has seemingly long estranged in 2021, he has not been present in his kids' lives either for a while.

In a conversation with Alex Cooper on her podcast Call Her Daddy, the mom-of-four clapped back at her ex-husband, saying, “It’s not easy. But I raise the kids full-time. They live with me, and I welcome a great, healthy relationship with my kids and their dad."

However, she adds, there is no news of him for months, "Whenever he’ll call for them [the kids] and ask, it’s probably been a couple of months since we’ve heard from him."

Kim also notes that her kids understand their father has a busy life, “They always knew that he had a big life traveling before and was always on tour and all of that. So it’s that he lives in different countries all the time and loves to live all over the place. So we manage it really well.”

It is worth noting that there was no sign of Ye on Christmas with his family; however, his daughter, North, shared a post on her social media with her stepmom, Bianca Censori.
