“King Charles will definitely be sad that Beatrice will miss the celebrations"

Princess Beatrice and her sister Eugenie have apparently delighted their uncle King Charles amid ongoing Andrew crisis.

The York sisters joined the royal family for their annual Christmas festivities at Sandringham on Thursday amid speculations over whether they would accept King Charles invite.

Andrew and Sarah’s younger daughter Eugenie was all smiles as she followed uncle King Charles and Queen Camilla into St Mary Magdalene Church.

Meanwhile, Beatrice was accompanied by her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi as King Charles appeared to send the message that they are not 'guilty by association'.

Eugenie and Beatrice joined the royal family despite their parents Andrew and Sarah Ferguson were not invited to Sandringham amid the scandal surrounding their friendship with Jeffrey Epstein.

As per the reports, it is believed King Charles does not want his nieces to suffer from the fallout.

Earlier, they both also attended King Charles pre-Christmas luncheon at Buckingham Palace.

The Daily Mail reported experts said their attendance shows they are being 'insulated' by the King from their disgraced father Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

Earlier, there were reports Beatrice and Eugenie would not join royal family and even their parents on Christmas and instead they will mark it with their family.

Commenting on the issue, King Charles former butler Grant Harrold has said, “King Charles will definitely be sad that Beatrice will miss the celebrations. He’s extremely fond of his niece and I’m sure he would have wanted to spend time with her over the holidays after such a difficult time.”

The former aide said King Charles is ‘well aware’ that Beatrice has been caught up in the upset of everything that’s happened with her father - despite it having nothing to do with her.
