Meghan Markle’s distance from Thomas Markle despite medical crisis explained: Why she’s terrified
Meghan Markle’s self preservation efforts get put under the microscope amid her father’s self-funding drive
Following Thomas Markle’s hospitalization, Meghan Markle is said to be at her wits end, and it includes feeling scared of the implications her life will face should she move towards reconciliation while not trusting him.
Royal expert Ian Pelham Turner is the commentator that made this comment public in his interview with Fox News Digital.
In an effort to explain her distant approach and the fear factor that goes into keeping him at arm’s length, Mr Palmer says, “Meghan has been seriously hurt by her father over the years.”
It’s also described as the main reason for keeping her walls up, especially since it allows her to keep “a safe distance where he cannot complicate her life even further with his dalliances over revealing his often-changing perceptions of his daughter,” he added as well.
At one point in the conversation Mr Palmer also said, “He is obviously not easy to live with.” But “now with his amputation, it makes life more difficult still for Meghan” as she is “torn between her natural desire to help her father and, at the same time, not trusting him.”
All in all, with her decisions to send a letter rather than visit the Philippines he thinks “she is protecting herself from the harm she felt she suffered in the past” which the commentator said before signing off.
