Elsie Hewitt had to get an unexpected medical procedure hours after welcoming her first baby with Pete Davidson.
Hewitt took to Instagram stories to share that she had a wisdom tooth removed the day after giving birth.
"Who else had to get a wisdom tooth removed directly from hospital the day after they gave birth?" Hewitt, 29, wrote over a selfie with gauze wrapped around her head. She sat in the back of a car next to her baby girl in a black infant car seat.
Hewitt and Davidson, 31, welcomed their first baby, a daughter, on December 12.
In a heartwarming post, Hewitt shared many snaps with the baby on Instagram, writing, "Our perfect angel girl arrived: Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson."
"My best work yet, I am absolutely overflowing with love and gratitude and disbelief," she gushed.
Davidson, known for his comedy gig on Saturday Night Live, added in the caption, stating, "Wu tang forever."
Davidson and Hewitt named their daughter after the comedian’s late father, Scott Davidson, who died in the line of duty during the September 11, 2001, attacks in New York City.
Davidson has previously spoken about losing his dad at the age of seven.
"My dad told me he was going to pick me up from school on 9/11. I got picked up by my mom,” he said during an episode of the Real Ones podcast. "She didn’t tell me what was going on for, like, three days. She kept telling me, ‘Dad’s at work, coming home.'"
He continued, "I had no idea, and my mom was like, ‘You’re grounded, you’re not allowed to watch TV.’ I was, like, ‘I didn’t do anything.’ Then, one night, I turned on the TV, and I just saw my dad on TV. I was like, ‘Oh, OK,’ and they’re like, ‘These are all the firemen that are dead.'"
"We didn’t know he was dead for, like, three weeks," he recalled.
