One beloved veteran actor who STILL refuses to do 'Actors on Actors' revealed
Many popular actors like Robert Downey Jr. and Mark Ruffalo have appeared on 'Actors on Actors'
Variety‘s Actors on Actors series has been a hit with fans but there are still actors who decline requests to appear on the series.
Editor in chief Ramin Setoodeh appeared on the Viall Files podcast on December 18. During the episode, he was asked if there are still some actors on his wish list for the series.
"Leonardo [DiCaprio] had been on my dream list for a really long time. We’re very, very lucky to have him this season. One actor who’s always said no and she’s never done it is Meryl Streep," he revealed.
Setoodeh noted that many actors asked to be paired with Meryl, who has yet to say yes to the series.
"Everyone’s always wanting to pair with Meryl Streep," he revealed. "Meryl hasn’t made a movie in a few years now. She’s been on TV, she’s been on Hulu and she’s been doing other projects. But I do hope the next time she has a big movie — and she’s not on Only Murders in the Building — that we can have her on Actors on Actors."
"Literally, I could pair her with anyone. And every single actor in the portfolio always wants to pair with Meryl," he shared.
Meryl Streep will soon have a movie coming out with the highly-anticipated The Devil Wears Prada 2 alongside Emily Blunt and Anne Hathaway.
