King Charles turns up the festive spirit with a festive celebration at a brewery
King Charles turns festive and has some fun just in time for the Christmas season
King Charles has just showed off snippets from one of his most recent engagements, that too at the official opening for the Guinness Open Gate Brewery London.
According to the caption on the Royal Family’s official Instagram account “Guinness Open Gate Brewery London stands on what was once Combe & Co., an 18th Century powerhouse in Covent Garden’s booming brewing district of the time.”
What is also pertinent to mention is that back in 1901, Guinness Extra Stout was first bottled on this same site under Combe, Watney and Reid.
Moreover, His Majesty met Diageo’s Learning for Life hospitality graduates, tasted brews exclusive to the site, and he even ended up joining a festive celebration with local community groups in Old Brewer’s Yard.
The video overlapping the clips from his royal engagement were even timed to the song Merry Christmas Everyone by Shakin’ Stevens.
