Russell Simmons claims he paid $50,000 a month, Kimora Lee Simmons calls it ‘lies’
Kimora Lee Simmons fires back at ex-husband Russell Simmons over claims about their daughters and finances
Kimora Lee Simmons had had enough. In her belief, what her ex-husband Russell Simmons said about her and her daughters is nothing but false claims.
Her strong response on Instagram allegedly sets the record straight. "My girls are GROWN WOMEN!" the fashion designer hits back.
Giving a reference to his assault allegations, Kimora writes, "You know these are lies. Why are you typing from thousands of miles away in a non extradition country? Go negotiate and Answer your Accusers."
This scathing reply was to an equally critical post on Thread by Russell, who alleged that he had been her provider for two decades but that, in his view, she still stole from him.
“I gave u 50,000 a month for 20 years. I was ur best /only friend. I’m the godfather to your other 3 kids, until one day you stole my stock.”
“I have been fighting for my kids love and my bread ever since,” he continued. “You threatened that if I sued you, I would never speak to my kids again. There are two sides to every story.”
Russell and Kimora got married in 1998, but the couple called it quits in 2006, and their divorce was finalized in 2009. The pair shares two kids.
