Rob Reiner murder mystery deepens with new details
Rob Reiner, along with his wife, Singer Reiner, was found dead at their home in L.A.
Rob Reiner, a longtime Hollywood director, was found dead along with his wife, Singer Reiner, at their home in Brentwood, Los Angeles, on Sunday.
But as new details about the investigation emerge, it points to an intrigue: no forced entry sign, as well as multiple stabbing wounds.
This was reported by The Los Angeles Times as the police have made no arrest so far, but an unnamed family member was reportedly being interviewed in a case described as a homicide.
The couple has four children, and one of them found them in the room some time after the attack.
Earlier, a spokesperson for Rob's family confirmed the pair's deaths. “It is with profound sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of Michele and Rob Reiner. We are heartbroken by this sudden loss, and we ask for privacy during this unbelievably difficult time.”
Meanwhile, several celebrities shared their shock reaction to the death of Rob. Jamie Lee Curtis, who worked with him in the Spinal Tap, penned a post, “Christopher and I are numb and sad and shocked about the violent, tragic deaths of our dear friends Rob and Michelle Singer Reiner."
"And our ONLY focus and care right now is for their children and immediate families, and we will offer all support possible to help them."
Ben Stiller, similarly, shared his condolences, writing, "was a kind, caring person who was really, really funny," and "made some of the most formative movies for my generation.”
