Princess Eugenie and Beatrice have been warned after their parents Sarah Ferguson and Andrew joined them Friday at the Chapel Royal at St. James's Palace in London.

Sarah and Andrew attended the christening of their granddaughter, Athena, Princess Beatrice's second child on invitation from their daughter.

Following Sarah and Andrew’s first appearance after losing their royal titles, a royal expert has warned Eugenie and Beatrice to keep their distance from their parent’s scandal.

Meredith Constant told Fox News Digital, "Beatrice was in a difficult position. Do you uninvite your father and give the media even more fodder, or do you invite him but keep it very low-key?

“It's also in the interest of Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie to keep their distance from their parents' scandals.”

The royal expert further said King Charles has made it clear that Eugenie and Beatrice are ‘very much in the royal fold’, but who knows if William's going to extend the same compassion when King.

“The more space between the York sisters and their parents, the better," Meredith added.

Sarah Ferguson, Andrew Come Out Of Exile After Losing Royal Titles

The fresh warning for Eugenie and Beatrice comes after the Daily Mail reported Sarah and Andrew ended their exile as they attended the christening ceremony for Princess Beatrice's daughter Athena.

The baptism of Sarah and Andrew’s granddaughter took place at the Chapel Royal within St James's Palace.

Kate Middleton and Prince William’s sons Prince George and Louis were also christened in the Chapel Royal.

Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi gathered close relatives and friends to celebrate their second daughter.

However, no senior royal attended the ceremony.
